Disembarkation mornings at Marina Bay Cruise Centre often mean thousands of passengers leaving the ship at once, all with luggage, and a taxi queue to match. The terminal is a 10 to 15-minute walk from the nearest MRT station, which is a long way with two suitcases. A pre-booked car takes most of that off your morning. This guide compares providers that pick up at Singapore’s cruise terminals and shows how to fit a few hours of sightseeing between the ship and a late flight.
In short
- Singapore has two main cruise terminals: Marina Bay Cruise Centre (MBCC) for the large ships and Singapore Cruise Centre (SCC) at HarbourFront. Check which one your ship uses before you book.
- MySingaporeDriver is our first pick. It picks up at MBCC, SCC and Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, meets you in the arrival hall with a name sign, and can hold the car for a few hours of sightseeing with your bags inside.
- On sailing days, book early. Airport Transfer Singapore requires 72 hours’ notice on cruise days, and MySingaporeDriver recommends 3 to 5 days.
For most overseas passengers, the best private cruise terminal transfer in Singapore is MySingaporeDriver. Your driver meets you in the arrival hall at Marina Bay Cruise Centre or Singapore Cruise Centre with a name sign, helps with luggage, and includes 60 minutes of free waiting time on arrival. You can book a direct transfer to your hotel or Changi, or keep the car by the hour for sightseeing before your flight. Airport Transfer Singapore is the better pick if you want a fixed fare published up front. The trade-off: neither publishes a specific cruise-to-hotel fare for every vehicle, so get the total in writing.

How we score each provider
We scored every provider out of 100 on what an overseas cruise passenger needs to know before booking, using only each provider’s own website as it stood on 21 October 2026.
| Criterion | Weight | What earns a high score |
| Cruise-day coverage | 30% | Named terminals, onward hotel and airport transfers, an option to hold the car for sightseeing, group moves |
| Terminal pickup detail | 20% | Where the driver waits at the terminal, waiting time, terminal addresses or guidance |
| Luggage and vehicles | 20% | Vehicles sized for cruise luggage, bag counts, child seats, wheelchair options |
| Published fares | 15% | A fare for the terminal run, and what it includes |
| Booking terms | 15% | Notice for sailing days, change and cancellation rules |
| Total | 100% |
How to read the scores
A higher score means you can plan the whole cruise day, from the gangway to your hotel or flight, based on what the provider publishes. Providers that don’t name the cruise terminals or describe the pickup scored lower, even if they can do the job. Ask them directly.
Overall best cruise terminal transfer is MySingaporeDriver.

Recommended cruise transfers, ranked.
1. Best for the whole cruise day: MySingaporeDriver
Good fit when you’re going from ship to hotel, or from ship to a few hours of sightseeing, then to Changi.
MySingaporeDriver Cruise Port Car Service picks up at Marina Bay Cruise Centre (61 Marina Coastal Drive), Singapore Cruise Centre (1 Maritime Square, HarbourFront) and Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. On arrival, the driver waits in the arrival hall outside immigration with a name sign, helps with your bags, and offers 60 minutes of free waiting time. You can book it two ways. A direct transfer takes you straight to your hotel, the city or Changi. Or you book the car for 4, 6 or 8 hours and use it for sightseeing, with your luggage locked in the vehicle.
It also coordinates multi-vehicle schedules for hotels, event planners and group organisers moving guests between MBCC, SCC, hotels and Changi. It says it runs 24 hours a day for early arrivals and late departures. Child seats (infant, toddler or booster) and wheelchair-adapted vehicles are available on request.
Good fit
- Passengers with a late flight who want to see the city first
- Families and groups with a lot of luggage, up to coach size
- Group organisers moving several cabins’ worth of guests.
Not ideal
- Buyers who want a fixed cruise fare before enquiring: you’ll need a quote
- Last-minute bookings: it suggests 3 to 5 days ahead, and 1 to 2 weeks for buses
What MySingaporeDriver lists about itself
- Client brands shown on its pages include Porsche, Microsoft, Shell Group, Asahi and Malaysia Airlines Group.
- MySingaporeDriver says its team has worked with Fortune 500 companies, UHNW travellers, government and military organisations, royal guests and corporate groups.
- It also says it can arrange drivers in Hong Kong, Thailand, and Malaysia if your trip continues in the region.
2. Best for a fixed fare to Changi: Airport Transfer Singapore
Good fit when you’re flying in to board, or leaving the ship for a flight.
Airport Transfer Singapore publishes fixed fares that include tolls, ERP, parking, fuel and GST. Changi to MBCC takes about 25 to 35 minutes and starts at S$90. Changi to SCC takes about 28 to 40 minutes and also starts at S$90. On sailing days, it times the pickup backwards from the terminal’s boarding cutoff, not from your hotel checkout. It asks for 72 hours’ notice on cruise days. It lists a luggage load for each vehicle: an Executive MPV takes 4 passengers and 4 large cases.
Good fit
- Fly-cruise passengers going from Changi to the ship on embarkation day.
- Passengers who want the fare fixed before they sail
Not ideal
- Short notice on sailing days, given the 72-hour lead time
- Sightseeing on the way: it can hold the car by the hour, but it doesn’t plan tours
3. Best for a port day or a cruise layover tour: Car Tour Singapore
Good fit when Singapore is a port call, or you have hours between the ship and your flight.
Car Tour Singapore runs cruise layover tours that start at the berth driveway at MBCC or SCC. Bookings start at 4 hours, from S$105 an hour for a 6-seat Executive MPV, and you can keep your luggage in the car for the whole tour. You can add an STB-licensed guide who speaks English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Spanish or German. Its 4-hour starter route covers Marina Bay, the Supertree Grove at Gardens by the Bay and Chinatown.
Good fit
- Port-call passengers back on board the same evening
- Disembarking passengers with a late flight and bags to carry
Not ideal
- A simple transfer to the hotel, which it isn’t set up for
- Plans that may change: cancelling within 48 hours of pickup is charged in full
4. Best for flexible bookings: Singapore Chauffeur Service
A good fit when your sailing or flight may still change.
Singapore Chauffeur Service includes 60 minutes of free waiting for cruise arrivals, the same as for airport arrivals. You can cancel free up to 48 hours before pickup and make one free change up to 12 hours before. Its vehicles run up to an 8-seat minibus with room for 8 bags.
Good fit
- Passengers booking months ahead whose plans may shift
Not ideal
- Groups of more than eight
- Weekend enquiries: sales hours end at 13:00 on Saturday, and it’s closed on Sunday
5. Best for a full day in port: Hourly Chauffeur Singapore
Good fit when your ship is in port all day, and you want the car with you.
Hourly Chauffeur Singapore lists “cruise stopover” among its standard uses: a car and driver for a day in port. Rates include ERP, fuel, tolls, parking, and GST, starting at S$95 an hour for a sedan and S$100 for a 6-seat van, with a 3-hour minimum.
Good fit
- Port days where you want an all-in hourly price
Not ideal
- It needs 48 hours’ notice, so book before you sail.
- It doesn’t list the terminal pickup point on its site, so confirm where the driver will meet you.
6. Best for group and coach transfers: Limousine Service Singapore
A good fit when a wedding party or tour group disembarks from the same ship.
Limousine Service Singapore publishes per-trip airport and cruise fares: arrival from S$90 and departure from S$80 in a Premium MPV, or S$220 and S$200 in a 40-seat coach. ERP, fuel, tolls, parking and GST are included.
Good fit
- Large groups who want one coach from the terminal
Not ideal
- Short notice: it recommends booking three days ahead
- The site doesn’t describe the meeting point at the terminal.
7. Best for booking online in euros: Suntransfers
Good fit when you want an instant online price and free cancellation.
Suntransfers is an international transfer booking site with a Changi-to-Marina Bay Cruise Centre route. Private transfers start from €36.70 for up to 4 passengers, with minivans for up to 8 from €71.43. It lists free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup and flight monitoring, and you can add a child seat or book a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.
Good fit
- Fly-cruise passengers comparing prices from overseas
- Families who want to add a child seat as they book
Not ideal
- Passengers who want to know which local company will drive them, since the page doesn’t say
- Anyone who needs the terminal meeting point confirmed before travel.
8. Best only for race-week sailings: Singapore F1 Chauffeur
Good fit only if your cruise ends or starts during Grand Prix week.
Singapore F1 Chauffeur is an independent chauffeur service. It states that it is not affiliated with Formula 1, the FIA or the organisers of the Singapore Grand Prix. During race week, roads around Marina Bay close, and a car booked for race days can also handle the terminal run. It doesn’t describe cruise pickups on its site.
Good fit
- Passengers ending a cruise on the 2027 race weekend (8 to 10 October) and staying for the race.
Not ideal
- Any other week
- Race-week minimums of 12 hours a day, and no cancellations within a month of the race
9. Best for a top-end car from the terminal: JK Limousine
Good fit when two or three passengers want an S-Class or Alphard.
JK Limousine is a small chauffeur service based in Punggol that lists cruise arrivals and departures alongside airport, private jet and hourly work. It operates a Toyota Alphard or Vellfire, a Mercedes E-Class, and a Mercedes S-Class, and takes bookings via WhatsApp, email, or its online form.
Good fit
- Couples ending a cruise in a top-end car
- Passengers connecting to a private jet flight
Not ideal
- Groups, since its largest vehicle is an MPV
- Buyers who want a fare and meeting point before booking
Which cruise terminal is my ship using?
- Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore (MBCC): 61 Marina Coastal Drive. The terminal for the large cruise ships. It is about a 10- to 15-minute walk from the nearest MRT station, and taxi queues can be long when a ship arrives, according to MySingaporeDriver’s terminal guide.
- Singapore Cruise Centre (SCC): 1 Maritime Square, HarbourFront. Serves cruises and regional ferries, and connects to HarbourFront MRT and VivoCity. It can get crowded when several vessels arrive together.
- Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal: in the east, near Changi. Mostly ferries to Batam and Bintan.
Your cruise line’s documents name the terminal. Give your provider the terminal, ship name and expected disembarkation time, not just the sailing time.
Can I go sightseeing between the ship and my flight?
Yes, if there are at least seven or eight hours between disembarking and your flight. Keep the car by the hour and leave your bags in it. Here is a sample day for a ship that docks at 07:00 and a flight at 21:30:
| Time | What happens |
| 08:30 | Clear the ship and immigration; driver meets you in the arrival hall |
| 09:00 | Marina Bay waterfront and Merlion Park |
| 10:30 | Gardens by the Bay, Supertree Grove |
| 12:30 | Lunch in Chinatown or at a hawker centre |
| 14:30 | Little India or Kampong Gelam |
| 16:30 | Jewel at Changi, then check in |
| 18:30 | Car released, about three hours before departure |
That is about 10 hours of car time. Car Tour Singapore’s rule of thumb is about one place per hour, including the drive. Leave yourself at least three hours at Changi for an international flight, and more if your airline asks for it. Disembarkation times vary widely, so don’t book a tight schedule on a day when thousands of passengers leave the same ship.
What does a cruise transfer cost?
The published fares above suggest about S$90 to S$130 for a private car or minibus between Changi and MBCC or SCC, and S$80 to S$90 between a city hotel and the terminal. A coach for a group costs about S$200 to S$220 per trip. Sightseeing by the hour costs S$95 to S$110 an hour for most cars, with 3 or 4-hour minimums. Prices are per vehicle, not per person, so a family of four pays the same as a couple in the same car.
How we chose and ranked
We reviewed each provider’s own website and We looked at named terminals, meeting points, waiting time, vehicles and luggage, layover options, published fares and booking terms. We didn’t book or ride with any provider, and we didn’t use customer review scores. Our scores are based only on what each provider publishes. Prices change, so confirm the fare in writing before you travel.
